Mason McClung

Since Mason was a kid, powder coating has always been a big part of his life. When his dad (Monte McClung) started First In Finishing in 2010 it was a 1 man show for a while, and when you're a one man show and have kids… You can assume he learned real quick what a Gema control unit and a pump insert looked like.

From working around the shop to cleaning and organizing equipment he always tried to make himself as useful as he can be. Always working part time and never having real hours he tried to learn everything he could with such little time.

That is until he Graduated high school and decided that working for First In Finishing and help his dads business grow was the plan he believed God setout for him.

 

So since Mason has graduated high school he has taken on a handful of roles throughout  the company, which consist of.

 

-Field Service Technician

He has traveled throughout the country and even into other countries helping many powder coating shops and businesses run smoother and more efficiently.

 

-Repairs/Service

At First In Finishing customer support has always been our number one priority. With hands-on experience and many years of knowledge Mason has been able to provide great equipment and powder coating support to all of First In Finishings customers.

Along with support Mason has dealt with many equipment repairs and issues from all sorts of powder coating brands and is very knowledgeable in fixing and understanding potential problems with the equipment.

 

-Sales

With a background in repairs and service, Sales started to become more and more relevant. Helping customers better understand what the equipment provides and which system would best suit their needs and application has been a strong goal of Mason’s.

-Social Media influencer

From creating his own youtube and social media accounts to assisting FIrst In Finishing in their media reach, Mason has helped spread good powder coating information and knowledge to many coaters all around the world.

 

-Powder Coating Training

From traveling to all different powder coating shops to in house training at First in Finishing Mason has led and taught many coaters on the correct way to powder coat and to better help them understand the Powder Coating process as a whole.

 

-Social Media Help

Mason has dedicated a lot of time to helping many customers better understand powder coating and different tricks of the trade through all sorts of social media sources. From facebook groups and posts, to instagram and youtube videos, he has helped many coaters better understand the process and have better powder coating results.

Now Mason makes it a goal to not only be a good contact in the powder coating world but to also learn from each and everyone one of his customers. Even with growing up around powder coating and investing alot of time and money into the trade, there are things to be learned daily because every person has their own way of doing things. It's Masons job to understand and help them in their own potential problems and from these situations learn to be of better help the next time an issue like this occurs.
